Looking at the weather its still pretty warm here at 8,000 ft. We have temps in the mid 40's. I do not think these temps will cool off before some precip this afternoon. So rain tonight and probably tomorrows storm will start as rain also. Hopefully by Monday night we are looking at 1-2 inches of snow around 8,000 ft. A little rain before snow never did any harm and will smooth out the snow surface. Depending on wind and snow amounts this week we could see touchy wind slabs later in the week.
Today above 7500 ft the snow had not gone through the freeze thaw process enough times to produce really great skiing. There was pretty good smush skiing on east aspects. If you were to brave skiing in the rain tomorrow I would be hesitant about wet activity with no good freeze for 2 days. Watched one loose wet avalanche come down the tram chute.

We loose in Mt. Ogden chute and Kill Will
