Comments
Surprisingly decent turning conditions today. Snow was bouncy and "styrofoamy." Made the wet hike in worth it. With an early start tomorrow you might get some good turns though once the sun comes out and it warms up, it'll go off quickly and become a damp, gloppy mess.
Photos:
1. Back to winter for a day - nice coating of snow and cooler temps. 2. As of 1pm, about 8" of high density new snow had fallen at 8000'. 3. The old snow surface had quite a bit of dirt on it. You can easily see the brown snow at the new/old interface. 4. As per usual on Thursday's, it was quite weathery in the Ogden zone. 5. Even with skin wax, Kory was hauling a few extra pounds of sticky, wet snow uphill.
