Just an update on the past couple days. We have seen very high temps as expected here in the Ogden Mountains but not much for activity. The glide cracks are huge and scary but not letting go yet! Have not seen a whole ton for cornice fall either. We have lost a ton of snow in the mountains the last week. Lots of snow has melted off most of the rocks from the Divide to rodeo ridge. Cutler and the birthday bowls are still holding onto some snow. I wonder if the extreme melting has melted away some of the glide avalanche issues because none of that snow is left on the rocks. Very different world. Here are some photos from Saturday and today. Willard photo was taken by Doug Wewer (way better picture taker than me) Nothing to exciting here but a wet slab on the slabs from yesterday. d2 wet slab.
