Lovely spring day in the mountains. Warmed up quickly.

Found pretty good corn snow conditions on SE then S then W. Snow on those aspects was too warm by 12:30pm. Surprised by the supportable foundation as we've had weak overnight refreezes. Only found these conditions around 8000-8800'. Below that was way less supportable and rapidly disintegrated once the sun hit it.

Snow on SE, S and W showed signs of instability by 12:30pm. Saw a few cornice chunks that had broken off over the past couple of days heating.

Classic Utah spring time conditions though the time frame for safe skiing is very short. Tomorrow's will be shorter.
