Comments
I was curious about the southerly aspects before the next storm comes in.
The weakness of the sun crust and how easily it broke (CTV and ECTP4) has me wondering what the storm slab will do to this weakness. The layer was only able to be initiated when isolated. The slope was skied and there was no breaking of the layer. I hope this means that the storm slab will compress the crust onto the weak snow below. If this does not happen, then the big question is whether this crust is strong enough to bridge the weak layer below or if it will become a potentially active layer.
