Red Flags Comments
Conditions did not appear to be all that dangerous. Certainly potential for soft slab activity, and observed many d 1 sluffs on very steep slopes. Cracking in the snow surface perhaps 2" deep in wind affected areas.

Problem #1 Comments
Not much of an issue for me, since I stayed in mostly low angled terrain. Wind slabs will be an issue if wind speeds increase, but wind slabs were very soft and not a huge threat today.

Problem #2 Comments
I noticed lots of natural sluffing off very steep slopes and avoided travel under such slopes. I was not really able to trigger anything on slopes where I skied, but surface snow was cracking and moving with me for shot distances.

I noted extensive sluffing off steep slopes and a 2" deep, 200' wide tiny natural soft wind slab release at 7000' that occurred during a period of very heavy snowfall.
