Red Flags Comments
There appeared to be some shallow activity off the high ridgelines. Without being close my assumption would be lee side wind loading.
Comments
Overall a nice day to be out. Skiing conditions were good. We skied a southwest facing line with 5" on top of the old smooth melt surface. The new snow felt very stable and was becoming damp from the sun. I would not have been surprised to see roller ball activity a little later in the day and the new snow depth increased as we descended to lower more sheltered areas protected from the high winds during the storm.
