Damp, heavy snow below 6500t. Wind crust on the ridges and some nice creamy 'dry' powder in the 7000ft. range.

Heavy wind loading from the west. Damp roller balls and wet sluffs below 6500ft. I am sure the wet activity is going to increase with the forecasted rain.

I was able to find the ice/facet layer down at 49 inches on a north protected slopes at 7000ft. It was very stubborn to move though. No activity after 20 wacks. Probably due to the heavy warm snow above.
