Observation: Moab

Forecaster note: The snow isn't "talking" a lot, and overall the danger does appear to be moderate. The density of the snow surface is making it more difficult to affect underlying weaknesses, but snow pits reveal reactive, weak faceted layers. With more snow and wind in the forecast, am going to keep rating at considerable in upper elevation, wind loaded terrain. the danger is mostly moderate at sheltered, mid elevations.
