Snow Characteristics Comments

Not the light stuff we are used to but the slow cooling is helping the new snow from becoming too heavy. Top 3-5" is all graupel making for fast riding conditions even on lower angle slopes.

Comments

The snow depth varied greatly depending on aspect and elevation. Breaking trail was arduous. The wind is having its way with lots of obvious cross-loading in Beaver Creek Canyon, specifically on the backside of Beaver Mt.

One new slab (1'X100') on cliffbands above river just south of Blind Hollow pullout.
