Weather Comments
Up high on the ridgelines the wind was blowing strong from the south. The windward sides are getting scoured down to the ground, however; wind loading was faily minimal on the north side of the ridgelines but once below the ridge the snow was quite nice in sheltered terrain.

Snow Characteristics Comments

Only a trace of new snow overnight and today. It was a mixed back today with quite a bit of wind loading anywhere void of trees. I found good snow today in steep north facing trees below the ridge line above 9500 feet.
