Ogden area mountains
Ogden area mountains: reports of widespread, new snow and hard and soft wind slabs, D1 and D2, with one very large slide released at the upper elevations with explosives.
Salt Lake and Park City area mountains: avalanche mitigation included widespread explosive and natural avalanche activity all day, at mid and upper elevations. Larger reported slides were D2 and D3, on both southerly facing and northerly facing slopes, and fairly long running. Mid elevation slides ran like wet slides.
Provo area mountains: UDOT reports a widespread natural avalanche cycle occurred, probably late last night or early this morning, with slides running near to full track.
