Wind slabs formed on small sugary near surface facets.... Some of these slabs are likely to pretty sensitive to triggering.

I found lots of weak sugary or faceted snow today throughout the snowpack where shallow. Wind slabs that had formed in the last 24 hours on small near surface facets and were sensitive, and the snow was weak near the ground, especially in shallower areas and around rocks... The forecast cold temperatures will likely weaken the shallow existent snow further, and there's still well less than a meter of snow on most slopes.

Coverage looks pretty good in the Cornice Ridge Area but the snow is too soft around the rocks and it's quickly becoming faceted and weak in the cold, especially during clear dry nights...
