Powder
Snow Characteristics Comments

The snow continues to settle and the surface is becoming faster for skiing. The snow was all right side up and is very supportable where it is deep enough to cover the rocks and bushes.

Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
Very little in terms of Red Flags in the snowpack, no collapsing, no cracking, no settlement of any kind. Pretty amazing snowpack for the Wasatch in early December.

The first image is the slabs near the top of Banana Belt, we approached from below. There was evidence of some old sluffs that had come off the rock slabs. The second image is a hasty pit from just below the rocks on a northeast face just above 10k, the snow at the bottom was damp and had little or no facets.
