Wanted to get a look at No Name Bowl, first visit there this year, and also to take a look at the Monitors to see what had occurred during the storm. South Monitor had two fairly large storm snow avalanches in them, one in the center punch and one on the steep east facing portion of the bowl, both slides had crown about a foot deep and the one that ran on the steep east facing ran full track to the flats in the bottom. No Name Bowl also had a fairly large new snow slide in it that went basically wall to wall with a 15" crown, leaving only about a foot of light density snow in the starting zone. Probably want to keep an eye on that one, the foot of light density in the starting zone will facet rapidly with a few cold clear nights. The slide in South Monitor that ran to the flats, is the largest avalanche I've seen from our last storm cycle. The storm snow has settled out nicely and there was no signs of instabilities in the terrain covered. There was surface hoar forming on most aspects, something to keep in the back of your mind.
