Problem #1 Comments
I avoided this problem today and went to an area not really affected by wind. Poked my head slightly into W Monitor just to look. Cornices are building as they do in that area. No cracking on approach but I didn't get too close.

Problem #2 Comments
Storm snow is less active in sluffs today as compared to yesterday. Not moving on the low angle slopes I rode today.
Comments
Very informal pit at 9400 W facing. Snow pack was right side up, fist to 4F, with an HS90cm. No facets at the ground but I don't suspect there was any snow on the ground before the last two storms started to roll in. Things are looking pretty good. I would continue to approach upper elevation slopes with caution, especially terrain with steep or rocky start zones. Thin trigger points exist. Much fun to be had elsewhere until things fill in a bit more.
