Was finding dense - but dry - snow on northerly aspects > 9500' with some wind pockets > 11000'. If skies remain clear today and overnight, I am guessing it will still be possible to find dry snow at upper elevation northerly aspects on Sunday morning.

Agree with Drew's forecast for today - warmer overnight temps Friday night combined with no wind means wet activity likely to get an earlier start than previous day.

We were in White Pine this morning at 630, and had not yet noticed any wet activity on East aspects when exiting at 1030. But looking at wx stations at Alta this morning, temps rose considerably from 9 - 11 am:

Time 8550' 10500' 11000' 0900 26 F 27 F 24 F 1000 39 F 28 F 24 F 1100 47 F 33 F 28 F

This quick warm up likely got activity going on solar aspects.

Did notice wet activity from Friday in White Pine. These were mostly class 1 or 1.5 wet loose slides on East/South/West aspects. Most of which originated from steep rocky areas.

This photo was from Red Baldy on a west aspect at 10500'. Although this was now frozen this morning, what I like about this photo is it's a nice simple example of wet rollerballs that are a sure sign a slope is warming from the sun.

Pretty simple story - Low hazard this morning, but will quickly rise to Moderate/Considerable on solar aspects by mid/late morning given the rapid warming, no wind, and strong sun. [Edit 1800 - A friend of mine on White Baldy reported to me this afternoon that the East aspects quickly became active with rollerballs and small, wet loose slides at 1100.]
