Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
We observed no signs of instability today besides minor warming on slopes affected by the sun. The intermittent yet steadily increasing cloud cover throughout the day kept things from getting too hot. The temps also seemd to stay on the cool side.
Avalanche Problem #1
Problem
Cornice
Problem #1 Comments

we have been watching cornices grow larger with each storm. Found some substantial ones on Chicken Hill.

Comments

Large graupel in the lower part of the canyon though as we got to higher elevation the new snow became a mix of samller graupel and broken crystals.
