Came in dense then softer, which made it ski fast and nice but not very deep. q

several quick hand pits dug as we climbed into steeper terrain indicated that generally it seemed like the new snow bonded fairly well to the old, despite the graupel that came in first. While yesterday's tracks were blown in up high, there wasn't too much of a windslab that developed.
