Very strong west winds. They almost pushed me of the sled! Despite strong wind speeds, they were not moving any snow.

Low danger and poor riding conditions. See photo below of snow profile at 8200 feet on a north aspect. There were several stripes in the snow with crusts and maybe some old facets. However, none would propagate in an extended column test. In fact it took hard force to even get part of the column to break at these layers. I'll have a profile graph attached later this morning.

New snow tonight and tomorrow should bond well to the snow surface since it will be starting warm.
