Snow Characteristics Comments

I stayed on northerly aspects today and noticed damp snow at all elevations traveled- 8700 ft to 9300 ft. Snowballs were easy to make, yet it must have been just cool enough that I avoided the dreaded skin-glop. The ridge held a breakable melt-freeze crust. Fun "spongy" ski conditions.
