Comments
Early morning hike to ski southwest-south aspects of grizzly. Low clouds and steady light snowfall. No slides observed. New snow has fallen on hard sun/wind crusted old snow. New snow was poorly bonded to old surface. Sluffing in the skin track made climbing difficult at times. Storm snow sluff didn't run far or entrain additional snow. Test slopes produced no results. Large cornices formed on N facing aspects above solitude resort. Skied/hiked slopes in the low 30's. Great turns to be had!
