Comments
SE winds increasing though out the day, witnessed two naturals, one on Cardiac Ridge, and one in the right ventricle of Cardiac bowl, both caused by cross loading from SE winds, also a skier triggered pocket on the roll over under Cardiac Bowl. Skied the lower rock slab under Cardiac Ridge and crack out a few pencil hard slabs, the windslabs were running on small grain facets that were on the surface of the snow yesterday, would calll the hazard considerable for high elevation wind exposed terrain, east winds are a hard deal they lead to unexpected avalanches. Photos: hard slabs cracking on steeper roll overs and massive amounts of wind loading.
