Red Flags Comments
Seems like the red flags are coming down. Many slopes have avalanched in the natural cycle of Dec 23rd. However there is still a fairly shallow snowpack in some areas (<3'). Deep snow is safe snow they say. Sluffing on steep slopes within the new snow did not really get running.

Problem #1 Comments

The persistent deep slab is lurking out there somewhere.

Comments

only dug one quick pit today on top of the big water/solider ridge. snow was surprisingly shallow. Facets are rounding.

Much more relaxing skiing the slide path.
