Comments

Cracking, both deep and shallower and I was able to crack out small drifts on the ridge top, failing on a density change and stellars above the 12-7 rime-crust.

Nice to be out above the turquois blue Bear Lake, but the snow cover is still pretty thin on the east side of the Bear River Range.

The powder was nice, but you'd sink deeply into sugary faceted snow underneath. It was difficult to break trail back up and out of Garden City Canyon, and especially tough conditions for Otto the dog.
