Shallow, very weak snow in the Steep Hollow Area will probably create dangerous avalanche conditions once significant snow stacks up on it.

I could see a couple fresh facet sluffs in steep terrain. The snow has weakened to the point that it can't stay in place on the slope.

I triggered many localized collapses around bushes and in flat terrain. These were accompanied by deep cracks. The snowpack seemed crumbly and fragile...
