With an evening meeting in LCC...out for a dusk patrol. Dawn patrol so passé these days. Found 1-2' HS with a representative pit at 52cm northeast facing at 10,000'. Needless to say, most of the snow is junk, though supportable on skis. Weakest snow seems to be the faceting graupel from last week (capping the rime crust), with a close second being the faceted grains in the basement. This won't be the case long as the couple inches of very low density smoke on the surface will rapidly metamorphose and weaken with the forecasted ridge of high pressure. See the Germ winds below with high RH and light wind that helped promote today's 1-2mm SH with occasional patches of 2cm trees. Also see below the SH from today.

Found no wind slabs but cracked out a 4-8" pocket up the ridge from Twin Lakes.
