Went back to Cardiac Ridge from BCC to see if the previous snow before the storm had faceted out to the degree that we were seeing in Silver Fork and Days Fork yesterday. Kinda to my surprise the old snow had not change much since my last visit on Saturday. It still had the denser slab on facet set up with the pre storm surface snow set up hard, on most parts of the slope you were riding on the surface of the old snow and only sinking through the new light density snow, pretty much a dust on crust type of feel. There is some variability on the slope some places you would sink through the old snow to the dirt but most of the slope seemed supportable. There was not nearly enough of a load to increase the avalanche hazard in the terrain covered.

Photos: Cloudy misty cloud rolling in in the afternoon and decreasing visibility, And I know some people don't like it when I put photos of tracks in my obs but it's a holiday, Happy Thanksgiving
