Not really an observation in my book because I went to the same location as yesterday and not a whole lot has changed except for some wind over night that exposed the rime crust, and stiffened the surface snow up a bit. But I did manage to get a few photos of exposed rime crust and large amounts of graupel pooling that occurred in the Cardiac area during the last little storm that I think some people might find intresting.

Photos: large amounts of graupel pooling under the steepest part of Cardiac Ridge, and exposed rime crust shinning in the sun
