A variety of snow conditions today depending on the aspect. South was hot and melting fast. North was cold and shallow snow ranging from loose powder to wind-jacked.

The snow that is now a week or more old is beginning to facet.

North facing, shady slopes had small surface hoar.

Dug a quick pit in the deepest snow I could find, about 20".
