Snow Characteristics Comments

4 more inches of light density snow on top of what was on the ground yesterday. The total snow pack depth up at 10'500ft was 9 to 10 inches, consisting of mostly light density powder with some graupel mixed in.

Comments

Headed up Grizzly Gulch for a look at Wolverine and Patsy Marley, the added snow from over night improved how it looked but skiing is still not in the cards right now, light density snow hiding dirt and rocks. Now there is certainly enough snow to form a weak layer on the high N facing if we have a extended dry spell, guess we will have to wait and see. Pictures are for a idea of the coverage, comes in handy to know were the old snow is when it snows again.

Photos: Wolverine Cirque, Patsy Marley, Twin Lakes Pass, Grizzly Gulch, the preferred mode of travel for now, and hand pit N facing at 10,500ft
