The expected 9-or-so inches of snow today could slide easily on the old, hard ice crusts. So be sure to jump on test slopes and do slope cuts to see how well it's bonding. As usual, watch for deposits of wind drifted snow. We haven't seen an actual snow storm in about a month so it might make people a little nutty. Watch for human factors.
