Notable absence of depth/frost hoar even in the shade. Temperatures have been unseasonably warm. Snow on the sun exposed slopes up to 10000 feet is melted. Snow has melted on the asphalt surface of the Harts Draw County Road past North Creek.

In places where the snowpack was deeper than 36 inches and in the sun, discoloration (deep blue) indicated a higher water content.

Warm temperatures have affected the snowpack, not enough snow in the sun exposed aspects to present a severe problem, but caution advised when traveling/recreating in the North Creek Area.
Comments
The North Creek Access Road is holding snow well where it has been packed down by snowmobile use. Anywhere in the sun is seeing rapid warming. Nightime temperatures have been in the high 20's, daytime temps are well above freezing even to the top of North Creek Pass.
