Snow Characteristics Comments

New snow produced some nice riding conditions. Sheltered northerly terrain holding recrystalized snow under the new snow was very nice riding. Southerly aspects became damp with the clearing mid day.

Comments

Rode machines from Snake Creek through the Ant Knolls area into Tibble Fork and worked back to Snake Creek. Not much of interest to report avalanche wise. The pack is supportable providing excellent travel conditions and the stability is good. You could travel pretty much anywhere you wanted today. People are climbing all of the big slopes on sleds. No issues with any wind slab formation noted.

One thing of interest is that the pack below around 7600' is totally wet and unsupportable all the way to the ground. It doesn't seem to be presenting any great avalanche concern but it's quite interesting for this time of the season.
