Comments
Snow depth 80 cm. CT2, ECTN3. Failed on buried surface hoar 10 cm below surface. Of more concern is a crust with a underlying faceted layer about 20 cm down although no failure was noted here on tests. The remainder of the snow pack was a consistent 1 finger structure to the brush on the ground. Ski cuts didn't produce any cracking or significant sloughing. Cornice cuts were nonproductive. Snow seemed very stable. Ignore the location map, had trouble getting it to work.
