Went out in the afternoon from 1:00-5:00. Traveled from 7400'-9K'. About 6"-8" of new snow at 7400' but a little hard to tell due to the wind. Not much existing snow before the storm, maybe 3"-4" of loose, small grain facets. !6"-20" of total snow at 9000 ft. where I traveled. Pretty boney with lots of hazards (rocks, logs, stumps) barely covered by the snow. Experienced collapsing, cracking, and woopfing but did not get into upper elevation wind effected terrain. Photos below: total snow at 8900' and typical coverage below 9K in the timber.
