Comments
Crust is isolated to be visible in photo. Snowpack in the NW facing Patsy Trees was very similar, not worth drawing another profile. I would have expected a deeper, more loaded snowpack in this area.
Shear testing at pit: inconsistent, Columns are isolatable and fall with a very easy push. ECTs ranged from ECTN2-6 and ECTP6 Q2
I followed an old skin track onto this slope. If the skin track was not there, I would have excavated the part above me and worked my way down.
Of note: It appears that there may have been a near miss this weekend. I observed a NE facing shot off of the ridge that had appeared to crack wall to wall and stay in place. It looked like someone had entered the run and then walked back up to the ridge (see photo).
