"Light" snowfall is generous. It snowed for 10 minutes and the accumulation was insignificant. Also, "moderate" winds probably overstates the case, as the moderate winds were very intermittent, and the rest of the time it was light to calm. When I was out (from about 11am to 3pm), the weather was variable (between cloudy and clear) but quite benign. I did not observe any wind transport of snow today, and feel like the snowpack only continued to increase in strength due to warm, but not too warm, temperatures.

No change in the snow characteristics from the previous two days. Settled powder can still be found in mid and upper elevation north facing slopes. The snow remains very stable on all aspects with no observed exceptions other than sluffing off of normally suspect south facing rocks when the sun peaks out.

I did observe some fairly significant activity today related to warming. There is plenty of snow waiting to come down when the clouds finally leave.
