Snow Characteristics Comments

Storm totals seemed to be around 18 to 20 inches of light density snow. Sun had affected a bit of the due south terrain, but not much, skiing out Cardiff Bowl around 5;00pm the snow was still in tacked.

Comments

Once again the instabilities from yesterday seemed to be a thing of the past, there were some shallow soft slabs released by skiers but nothing that was not quite manageable. Did note some larger soft slabs and sluffs that pulled out yesterday during the high PI rates, this only seemed to occur in steeper terrain. One soft slab of note pulled out on the E facing between Cardiac Ridge and Cardiac Bowl and ran about 1500ft to lower angle terrain. Only instabilities noted today were minor sluffing. Photos.

Long running sluff that made it to the transition on E facing Cardiac
