Snow Characteristics Comments

Surface releasing to corn on the SE around 1000 but stayed good on the S until after 1100 and just beginning to thaw on the SSW at 1130. Still a strong and supportable mid to upper snpk but starting to see a bit more wetness at depth (all associated with softer layers adjacent to buried crusts). Pic shows a mouse hole and tunnel- he popped his head out and quickly retreated while Mckee was brushing smooth the snowpit face.
