Out on a couple days off Saturday and Sunday, one day in Maybird and another in White Pine. Incredible spring weather--can't get much more perfect, clear, not too cool, not too warm, light to moderate wind.

Very nice, dense, creamy old snow on northerly aspects out of the wind that rode fast and shallow. Good corn on southerly aspects. Various breakable sun crusts on east and west with lots of wind blasted snow above tree line. Still quite good snow on upper Maybird cirque to the ridge.

No avalanche problems and low danger on all aspects and elevations. Lots of parties out doing all kinds of lines that were far too dangerous for most of the season up to this point. These are the amazing spring days that we all live for. These last couple days were about as good as it gets with the combination of perfect weather, nice, settled, shallow powder on north aspects, corn on south with good stability to go pretty much anywhere you want to go.
