Snow Characteristics Comments

Evidence of the crazy winds on Monday was all over wind lips on ridges and such, but it felt like the real precip only began after the winds died down. We couldn't find any sign of the graupel that the PC ridgeline got, but maybe we didn't dig in the right areas. Also, the didn't seen to be much windslab creation out of the recent weather.

As I mentioned earlier, instabilities in the new snow seemed to be very limited to only the most easterly aspects. But this was surface snow only.
