Splendid day for a tour. Single digits to start (Peter says let's get moving!), pleasant by mid afternoon. Very light winds.

Depths of powder ranged from 6" to 12" lying on a firm supportable foundation. Not once did we penetrate with skis into the crusts below. Wind effect of existing powder surface was zero in our travels except for the uppermost 50-100' of vertical on ridges and summits.

Peter and Tom looked carefully (10x loop) at the interface between the uppermost crust sandwich facets. Mild concern shown on their faces. We recreated on 30 degree minus slopes.

Received CT 14-15 Q2 consistently either between the crust sandwich or below the sandwich. Propagation results inconsistent. Red flag for us.
