Comments

Route was Mill D to Wilson Fork, storm total in Wilson had settled out to about 10 inches of light density on top of a fragile rain crust, crust was stouter at lower elevation. No cracking or collapsing noted, only instability was sluffing in steeper terrain which was easily managed. Steep south facing slopes were also point releasing with the direct sun and some minor green housing. Photos.

Socked in and snowing on the Millcreek side, sunny on the BBC side stayed that way most of the day.

Sluffing in steeper terrain Butler Basin.

Snowing with sun and blue skies.
