Heavily rimed new snow. Lots of graupel. Rime-crust and heavier snow sandwiched in middle of softer new snow. Supported skis and sled well. Easy and fun riding, floating high in the heavy new snow. Supportable riding conditions will allow easy sled access to many dangerous slopes in the backcountry this weekend.

We stayed in fairly low angled terrain and did not see much in the way of obvious signs of instability or any natural avalanche activity, but did not have very good visibility. Broke trail up and our track was completely blown-in and invisible on the way back down the upper stretch of the road after only a couple hours. I think we might have been the only people in the Logan area backcountry today...
