Snow Characteristics Comments

New snow ranged from 16-24" in depth and was actually quite dense and supportable, that it until you stopped moving. Anything off the beaten path sent you straight to the ground. Lots of collapsing and cracking off the side of the skin track.

Rime crust still present.

New snow hasn't become really slabby yet at least at mid elevations. Up higher it is probably a different story.

No real results from stability tests except smashing down through the cohesion-less pack.

Still wasn't willing to go over 30 degrees. Presence of graupel made turns faster than expected on low angles.
