At 1100, 8400ft: HS: 85cm HST:25cm Tair -3 Tsurf -4C T20 -4C Moderate gusts in the sheltered forest. Boot Pen: 55cm. Ski Pen: 20cm. Noticed a fresh slab avalanche in central West Monitor at this time, looked to have slid on a deep persistent weak layer. Also appeared to be a dry loose coming from the rocks on more SE aspect.
