Comments
Climbed and skied low angle (20-25 degree) slopes with northwest and west aspects between around 7500-8500'. No collapsing or audibles anywhere along the tour. Performed ski cuts and aggressive jump turns on a wind-loaded ~40 degree west-northwest test slope at around 8000'; failed to produce any energy, collapsing or slabs on this slope. I hope to return to this zone during the coming week and find some similar test slopes with more northerly aspects.
