Hard to tell new snow depth due to the winds. Seeing some wind drifts over 8" deep. No wind slabs observed down lover elevations (8700')
Observed an instabilitiy in the new snow, had a Q3 collapse on CTV about 13 cm from surface. Not a major worry considering depth of new snow, might see it as some loose sluff following you on steep enough terrian.
That persistent weak layer is still lurking, although not very reactive. Took quite a bit to make it fail. Saw CTH (SP Q1). ECTN 12 Q3, and an RB7 Layer in question was about 56cm down. If this layer does fail it will have high consequences.
