Red Flags Comments
The wind has wreaked a bit of havoc in high elevation exposed areas creating pockety wind slabs all over the place. These are built on a "base" of structureless 2-3 ft deep tower of facets. Stepping just off the skin track I was able to hear multiple audible collapses.
Comments

No shovel needed to dig a pit. Just layer upon layer, albeit shallow ones, of facets. The variable wind slabs ranges from 1-6" in depth and were saucer-like in shape.
